Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Revo product review app ("Revo," "the app," "our service") and the website at userevo.app. By installing Revo or using our website, you agree to these Terms.

If you do not agree, do not install or use Revo.

The Service

Revo is a Shopify embedded app that enables merchants to collect, manage, and display product reviews with photos and videos. The service includes automated review request emails, customizable display widgets, review moderation tools, discount incentives, SEO structured data, and analytics.

Revo is designed to work within the Shopify ecosystem. A Shopify store is required to use the app.

Account Requirements

To use Revo, you must:

• Have an active Shopify store on a paid Shopify plan.
• Install Revo through the Shopify App Store.
• Grant the app the Shopify API permissions it requests during installation (these are required for the app to function).
• Provide accurate store and contact information.

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your Shopify account. Any activity that occurs through your store's connection to Revo is your responsibility.

Acceptable Use

You agree to use Revo in a manner that is lawful, respectful, and consistent with its intended purpose. Specifically, you agree not to:

• Use Revo to collect or display fabricated, misleading, or fraudulent reviews.
• Send review request emails to people who have not purchased from your store.
• Use the app to harvest email addresses or personal data for purposes unrelated to product reviews.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or tamper with the app's code or infrastructure.
• Use the service in any way that violates Shopify's Terms of Service or applicable law.
• Resell, sublicense, or redistribute Revo or access to the service.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

Content Ownership

Your content is yours. You retain full ownership of all review data collected through Revo, including review text, star ratings, photos, videos, and reviewer information. We do not claim any ownership rights over your content.

By using Revo, you grant us a limited license to store, process, and display your review content solely for the purpose of providing the service. This license ends when you uninstall the app and your data is deleted (see our Privacy Policy for details on data retention).

You are responsible for ensuring that the reviews displayed on your store comply with applicable consumer protection laws, including regulations around incentivized reviews and disclosure requirements. Revo provides the tools; how you use them is your responsibility.

Pricing and Billing

Revo is priced at $9.99 per month. All billing is handled through Shopify's billing system. When you install Revo, you approve a recurring charge through Shopify. Shopify collects payment and includes it in your regular Shopify invoice.

We may change our pricing in the future. If we do, we will provide at least 30 days' notice through the Revo app dashboard and email. Price changes will take effect at the start of your next billing cycle after the notice period.

Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis. Contact us at support@userevo.app if you believe you are owed a refund.

Availability and Uptime

We strive to keep Revo available and functioning at all times, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Downtime may occur due to maintenance, Shopify platform issues, or circumstances beyond our control.

We will make reasonable efforts to notify merchants of planned maintenance in advance.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Revo and its team shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the service. This includes, but is not limited to, loss of revenue, loss of data, loss of business opportunity, or damage to reputation.

Our total liability for any claim related to the service is limited to the amount you paid for Revo in the 12 months preceding the claim.

Revo is provided "as is" and "as available." We make no warranties, express or implied, regarding the service, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Revo and its team from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party rights.

Termination

You can stop using Revo at any time by uninstalling the app from your Shopify admin. Uninstalling cancels your subscription and stops all billing.

We may suspend or terminate your access to Revo if you violate these Terms, if your Shopify store is suspended, or if continuing to provide service to you creates legal or security risks. We will make reasonable efforts to notify you before or at the time of termination, unless the situation requires immediate action.

Upon termination, your data is handled according to our Privacy Policy. In short: we retain your data for 30 days after uninstall, then permanently delete it.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make significant changes, we will notify you through the Revo app dashboard and update the effective date at the top of this page.

Continued use of Revo after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. If you disagree with any changes, your remedy is to uninstall the app.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of Revo shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Delaware.

Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision will be limited or removed to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will remain in full effect.
